Happy Sunday! and happy second week of October! More importantly… It’s Danny’s birthday week! (Which he is absolutely not a fan of but I’m forcing him to enjoy it). This weekend was all about relaxing, having fun, and getting a few things done here and there. Friday we had dinner at the McAtamney’s which has become a weekly tradition and always a fun time. We also carved pumpkins! See below for just how obsessed we are with Bear, so much so that we carved his face on a pumpkin :) I spent some time in Chandler on Saturday using my parent’s pool (who knew you could still tan in Oct. in AZ) and I made pumpkin bread with the mama! I ended up heading back to Scottsdale around 2ish to walk 4.3 miles at the mall just to leave empty handed :( I am the worst shopper when it comes to finding something last minute. I always a really specific look in my mind that ends up making my shopping experience way to limited and specific. But the rest of the weekend did not disappoint! We went out with Danny’s friends to watch the McGregor fight…okay well that was the only other disappointing part of my weekend, but at least we had champ! Sunday (my favorite day of the week) was spent relaxing, catching up on laundry, and more importantly SNL, and preparing for the busy week ahead! Hope everyone else had an amazing first weekend of fall!

So I kicked Fall into full swing as soon as Oct. 1st hit, it also helped that I had to stay home from work on Thursday of this week due to having my wisdom teeth out. That let me get a jump start on my bucket list, I’m already about half-way through it!
Officially apart of the Gramma Phi Beta Club!
This weekend was soooooooo good. And I feel like I haven’t had a much needed weekend like this filled with hugs, love and ALOT of belly laughs. I forgot just how funny and amazing my sisters and littles in Gamma Phi Beta truly are.
To say it was a productive weekend may not accurately describe it, but hey, I’m learning that you can’t always wait for the storm to pass, you can’t also put friends and opportunities on hold until the timing is perfect, sometimes you just need to live and enjoy every second of it with a positive attitude and open embrace.
With Danny busy with EMT, I have the weekends to focus on my side projects and family time. (Because laying around all day missing your boyfriend is not what you should with your spare time apparently). Which has actually been going pretty well.
Not to mention I spent my Sunday heading to Tucson with my Gbig Hannah, to meet our GRANDBABIES. I really do feel this odd age of being old and wise but still young and 21. It’s super weird.
But, we ventured down for the big reveal and my kiddos did such. a good. job. I couldn’t be more proud of their baskets, dedication, and excitement to find their own mini me’s. We took them out to dinner and said Hello to the treasures of the PINK palace all before making it home by 9:30.
What we truly think helped was listening to “My Favorite Murder” the entire drive back. (thank you Hannah for getting me into this podcast”.

Every year the Chandler Service Club hosts their annual tea to present this years Flower Girls. The girls prepare a speech and get ready to present their hands of service project. This was my second year filming the tea, my fourth year attending a tea. ( I can’t believe it’s been four years since I was a Flower Girl) and It was will be my third year filming the ball! I also wasn’t sure where to put this because it has just about every category you could think of. Outfit details below! And of course, Montage By M and I wouldn’t be where it is today without my amazing mentors Bonnie and Christine. I still remember proposing the opportunity to film the ball to Christine as we talked over Starbucks almost 3 years ago, but it feels like yesterday!
Here are a few details of this years “Enchanted Garden Tea” as well as the highlight sneak peak :)

Making playlists for my 500 different moods has been a serious stress reliever later. And come to think of it, I’ve had this habit of making playlists for moods, occasions, and vacays since I was at least 10 (or when I got my first IPOD shuffle).
I got sad, fall, Florida, Spring Break, heck even my birthday’s for the last three years have had mood playlists (yes you can count on them being extremely LIT).
My most recent trip may have been one of my fav playlists that I think I will reuse A LOT for future adventures.
Here’s five reasons I make playlists for every occasions especially travel adventures.
I’m in love with moments I know I can’t duplicate, but music can literally take you back to a moment, feeling, experience, or memory. SO HELLO WHY WOULDN’T YOU CURRATE THE BEST MOMENTS OF YOUR LIFE INTO ONE HOUR OF PURE BLISS.
Did you know music can influence your mood? You’re probably thinking well no shit. But I’m serious, to the point that if you listen to sad music on the time you’re most likely going to be sad. So when I travel I always want to feel inspired to be present in moments I know I’m about to fall in love with and think about when I’m in bed falling asleep. Therefore, make a bomb playlist to have a bomb trip
Bomb playlist + bomb moments = bomb trip Now that’s just simple math but COME ON.
Not only is this playlist going to get you pumped! It’s going to index in your brain as a positive affirmation.
4). IT’S FUN?
Whether it’s getting you in the mood for a pumpkin spice latte or getting you psyched for spring break picking, choosing, and curating a list of favs can be fun and ease anxiety.
